Parafia małego miasta w Małopolsce XV–XVI w. Zasięg i wewnętrzne zróżnicowanie
AbstraktThe article is focused on the problems related to functioning of parish towns of Little Poland in the late Middle Ages and early modern times. The subject of the analysis is a group of 57 towns and their parish districts. Main goal of this article is to show the role and impact of parish upon the parishioners life. The study covers such issues as distance from the parish church, size of the parish district, which was dependent on the number of villages included in its
composition and also changes of the borders of parish. Generally, most of the researched parish districts, had mixed urban-rural character. They collected representatives of all social groups: gentry, peasants and townsmen.
